1062 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the current status of an application by a school (details supplied) in County Westmeath for the provision of a new school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20294/00]
Architectural planning for the project in question is proceeding as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand within my Department.
It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence, however, the school authorities will be notified of progress as it happens.
