1113 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will reach a final decision on the application for a classroom assistant made by the Archbishop McQuaid national school, Loughlinstown, County Dublin. [20645/00]
My Department is currently dealing with applications from both Archbishop McQuaid senior national school and Archbishop McQuaid junior national school, Loughlinstown, for the allocation of a special needs assistant support to assist in the education of pupils with disabilities.
On receipt of a report from my Department's inspectorate, officials in my Department will be in contact with the school authorities.
