73 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the current position in relation to an application for a shellfish licence for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20991/00]
An offer of a sea fishing boat licence was made, subject to a number of conditions and requirements, to the person in question. My Department was advised subsequently that the vessel in question had been sold and that the person concerned now wished to apply for a sea fishing boat licence for a different vessel. The person in question has been asked for further information and the matter will be examined further when this information is received.
