Vol. 523 No. 4

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

John McGuinness

Question:

129 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have arrangements made for the daughter of a person (details supplied) in Country Carlow to attend the Holy Angels Pool for therapy; and the reason for the delay in dealing with her application for this service. [21295/00]

The provision of health related support services, including therapy services, to persons with physical and sensory disabilities, is the responsibility of the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.

Question No. 130 taken with Question No. 111.
