Question:

211 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the plans he has to restore order in view of the ongoing spate of assaults, car crime, harassment of vulnerable families and drunken disorder on many urban estates. [21315/00]

I refer the Deputy to my comprehensive reply to Priority Questions Nos. 1, 2 and 5 and Question No. 61 of 5 October 2000. I can assure the Deputy that if further measures are required to combat these crimes, I will not hesitate to introduce them.
