265 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Education and Science when the final contract documents in relation to the acquisition of the site for a national school at Littlepace, Castaheaney, Dublin 15, will be signed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21303/00]
The office of the Chief State Solicitor is currently acting on behalf of my Department in relation to the conveyancing of the site at Littlepace, Castaheaney, Dublin 15. The CSSO has requested a copy map for the contract of sale from the vendor's legal representatives. This must be made available before the contract is completed. In the meantime, architectural planning for the new school is progressing. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence.
