31 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he will grant aid the construction of the north east Fingal swimming pool for the region in Skerries, County Dublin, in view of the lack of any such facility in this fast growing area. [21201/00]

The preliminary report which was submitted by Fingal County Council in relation to the proposed new swimming pool in Skerries, is currently being examined by our technical advisers. Officials from my Department will be in contact with the council once this examination is complete.
