285 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science the plans he has for new and better library facilities for the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21535/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department is aware that NUI Maynooth has plans for an extension to its library. However, my Department has received no proposal from the college in this regard.
