118 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will give consideration to the application by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for additional milk quota under the 500,000 gallons scheme in view of the fact that he did not meet the eligibility criteria under the Agenda 2000 scheme. I understand that the person in question has submitted an application for additional quota to the Milk Quota Appeals Tribunal under the 500,000 gallons scheme and his case will be considered as soon as possible.

The person named will be notified of the outcome of his application.
