John McGuinness

Question:

133 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the assessments taken to date in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow who suffers from hydrocephalous and ADHD; if, in consideration of his Department's reports and the reports available from Our Lady's hospital in Dublin 12, he will outline the steps he will take to provide care and support; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22522/00]

The provision of medical services is in this instance the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
