207 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 262 of 10 October 2000, he will outline the progress made regarding the feasibility of transferring pension rights of teachers between here and the United Kingdom; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The feasibility of transferring pension rights of teachers between this country and the UK is one of the matters currently being considered in the context of North-South co-operation. A working group consisting of representatives of the Department of Education, Northern Ireland, representatives of my Department and of the Department of Finance is currently considering the issues involved.
