Vol. 524 No. 3

Written Answers. - High Court Appointments.

Pat Rabbitte

Question:

57 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she has received representations to have a High Court inspector appointed under the Companies Act to a company (details supplied); if she has decided whether there are grounds for the appointment of an inspector; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22628/00]

On 3 October 2000, I received correspondence requesting me inter alia to apply to the High Court to seek the appointment of an inspector to the company in question. The request is being considered by my Department at the moment, and I will take appropriate advice before deciding what action, if any, I should take.
