281 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will outline the specialist maternity and obstetric services available. [23127/00]

A wide range of maternity services are provided on a regional basis by the health boards. Additional services are provided by the Dublin maternity hospitals for women throughout the country who require access to more specialised services. The specialist services include the following clinics in the National Maternity Hospital: antenatal, fotal assessment, post-natal, miscarriage, renal, diabetic, cardiac, asthma, high risk and haemotology. The Rotunda Hospital provides the following specialist services: pre-natal diagnosis clinic, human assisted reproduction unit, fotal loss clinic and multiple pregnancy clinic. Specialist services provided by the Coombe Hospital are: diabetic clinic, rhesus clinic, support clinic, anaesthetic clinic and neo-natal unit.
