Vol. 524 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospitals Building Programme.

Austin Currie

Question:

308 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will give a timescale for the completion of the James Connolly Memorial Hospital development, Dublin 15; if any amendments, changes or cuts have been made to the original plan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23157/00]

The responsibility for the redevelopment of James Connolly Memorial Hospital now rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
