489 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education and Science the subvention paid to Bus Éireann for the provision of the school transport service each year since 1993, with a separate breakdown of primary school transport and secondary school transport; and if he will make a statement on the matter. (Dr. Woods): The bulk of the information sought by the Deputy regarding the subvention paid to Bus Éireann for the provision of the school bus service from 1993 to 1999 is given in the following tabular statement. The breakdown of first and second level for 1993 and 1994 is not readily available and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
