272 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she will detail, from the time of the present Dáil, the financial penalties imposed on the Government resulting from the failure of her Department to comply with EU directives; and the legal proceedings that are now pending by the EU as a result of the failure of her Department to comply with EU directives. I am to inform the Deputy that no financial penalties have been imposed on the Government as a result of non-compliance with EU directives by my Department and no legal proceedings are currently pending.
