Written Answers. - Farm Retirement Scheme.
The person named applied for an early retirement pension in 1998 but there were a number of issues about his application and his transferee's eligibility that have yet to be resolved. Following correspondence from the Deputy, my Department wrote recently to the applicant asking for documentation to substantiate the position in relation to two specific items which are still outstanding. These are the farming transferee's herd number and confirmation of the disposal of a milk quota. So far these documents have not been supplied, and therefore my Department cannot complete the examination of his application.
