356 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive his 2000 cattle headage payment. [24719/00]

The person named applied on six cows and six other animals under the 2000 cattle headage scheme and on six cows under the 2000 suckler cow premium scheme. At an inspection of his herd on 2 August 2000, one of the cows applied on was found to have died. Evidence was required to show that the cow had been in the herd of the person named at the time of application and this evidence was obtained at a further inspection of his herd on 6 November 2000. His applications under these schemes will now be processed for payment.

358 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive his 2000 cattle headage payment and suckler cow premium. [24721/00]

The 2000 area aid application for the person named has been fully processed with no outstanding errors, and the area for payment purposes has been determined at 9.68 hectares. Any payments due will issue as soon as possible.
