369 Ms Clune asked the Minister for Finance when the property management section of the Office of Public Works will have successfully completed the acquisition of a site (details supplied) in County Cork for a facility on behalf of the Department of Education and Science; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My office acts as agent in a nationwide programme of property acquisition on behalf of the Department of Education and Science for the siting of primary and post-primary school facilities.
The acquisition of a 0.063 hectare site at Ballincollig, County Cork, to provide a site for a general purpose room for the adjacent national schools of Scoil Eoin and Scoil Mhuire is at an advanced stage and will be completed shortly.
