Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

524 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Health and Children when the report of the internal inquiry into vaccine trials in children's homes will be published and if he will forward this report to the child abuse commission. [24388/00]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 523 and 524 together.

It is my intention to lay copies of the Report on 3 Clinical Trials involving Babies and Children in Institutional Settings 1960/'61, 1970 and 1973 before both Houses of the Oireachtas on Thursday next, 9 November 2000 and to announce then what I propose doing with the report. I would not consider it appropriate to say anything more on the matter before then.

Question No. 525 taken with question No. 507.
