Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

534 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that a per son (details supplied) in Dublin 8 who is on the urgent list for surgery will be attended to without delay. [24399/00]

The responsibility for the provision of services at The Adelaide and Meath Hospital incorporating the National Children's Hospital, Tallaght is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.

Questions Nos. 535 to 559, inclusive, taken with Question No. 451.
