Vol. 525 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Seán Power

Question:

621 Mr. Power asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare, who is on a waiting list for Beaumont Hospital for five years, has not been called for treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24700/00]

The responsibility for the provision of services at Beaumont Hospital now rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
