734 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if he will detail, from the time of the present Dáil, the financial penalties imposed on the Government resulting from the failure of his Department to comply with EU directives; and the legal proceedings that are now pending by the EU as a result of the failure of his Department to comply with EU directives. During the reference period there have been no actions taken or penalties imposed resulting from failure to comply with any EU Directive for which my Department has responsibility and there are no legal proceedings pending.
