761 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she has been provided with detailed proposals from the three responsible local authorities in relation to initial development works at Lucan demesne, County Dublin; if she has approved these works; and the total estimated cost of these initial works. Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Miss de Valera):

The agreed management plan outlines the major improvement works to be undertaken at Lucan Demesne. The estimated cost of these works is £3.75 million and it is planned to carry out the works programme over a five year period. My Department has not yet received details from the local authorities of how the works will be phased.
