791 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when the registration of a schedule for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be completed; and if it can be expedited in view of the fact the delay is causing hardship. [24364/00]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application refers to an application under a Land Commission schedule which was lodged on 2 January 1991. I am further informed that Land Commission schedules are deemed to be registered as of the date of vesting which is prior to the date of lodgement of the documents in the Land Registry. Accordingly, registration in the Land Registry of Land Commission cases is afforded a lower priority than the registration of other dealings.
I understand that this application is expected to be completed in the next two weeks.
