798 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the review of the Gaming and Lotteries Act, 1956, has been completed; and if so, if he will make a statement as to the action he will take arising form the report of the review group. [24560/00]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue):

The report of the interdepartmental group which I established to carry out the review was published last June. The implementation of the report is currently being considered in the context of the heavy legislative programme of my Department.
