839 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 242 of 10 October 2000, he has received the report form Bus Éireann in relation to the extension of the bus service for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; the assessment that has taken place; when a decision will be made; if a favourable outcome will be achieved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department has approved a home collection point for the family concerned, due to the special circumstances involved.

Bus Éireann have been informed of my Department's decision and the necessary arrangements will be made by their local office as soon as possible.
