163 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has considered the September 1999 survey on health behaviours of school pupils in the eastern health board area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24509/00]
In 1998, the health promotion unit of my Department commissioned the first national health behaviour in school-aged children survey, the results of which were published in 1999. The report to which the Deputy refers, Health Behaviours of School Pupils, was commissioned by the Eastern Health Board around that time. These reports are invaluable in the planning and implementation of health promotion initiatives for schoolgoing children.
