369 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the current position in regard to the quality of the public domestic water supply in each local authority area here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25172/00]

The most recent published comprehensive information is set out in the 1998 Environmental Protection Agency report, The Quality of Drinking Water in Ireland, a copy of which is available in the Oireachtas Library. The report for 1999 is being prepared for publication during the current year.
