Vol. 525 No. 4

Written Answers. - Road Traffic Accidents.

John V. Farrelly

Question:

135 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the percentage of road fatalities over the past five years within the 30 or 40 mile speed limits here; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25301/00]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that details in relation to the percentage of road fatalities over the past five years within the 30 to 40 mile speed limits here are not readily available from Garda records.

However, details in relation to road accidents are available from the National Roads Authority, St. Martin's House, Waterloo Road, Dublin 4, which publishes annually a detailed report entitled Road Accident Facts, Ireland.
