The person concerned has had previous correspondence with my Department. The allegations of wrongful detention have been fully investigated by the inspector of mental hospitals who has found that the allegations are without foundation. The inspector is also satisfied that in relation to her care and treatment the doctors acted appropriately and in accordance with the provisions of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945.
