Vol. 526 No. 3

Written Answers. - Departmental Staff.

Dan Neville

Question:

368 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the experience which the recently appointed higher executive officer in the Land Registry Office has with regard to the work in the Land Registry Office over the past ten years. [26473/00]

I do not propose to depart from the normal practice of not disclosing the precise personnel details of any individual member of staff.

However, I can confirm that there were a number of promotions recently to the grade of higher executive officer in the Land Registry and Registry of Deeds. These promotions were made either on the basis of seniority and suitability or following a competitive interview process. I am satisfied that each of the persons selected fulfilled the necessary eligibility criteria for promotion to the grade of higher executive officer.
