No funding has been provided from the millennium fund to Comhaltas Ceoltorí Éireann. In the course of carrying out its remit, the Millennium Committee did examine two proposals associated with the organisation, Bru Boru, Cashel, County Tipperary and Clasac, Clontarf, Dublin 3. However, notwithstanding the quality of the projects proposed, the Millennium Committee did not find it possible to include them in its recommendations to the Government.
