Plans for any developments, includ ing radar facilities, at Knock International Airport or the other regional airports are a matter for the airport authorities concerned. As the Deputy is aware, the State does not own any of the six regional airports. In the coming weeks, my Department will be seeking from all the regional airport authorities their proposals for funding under the regional airports measure of the national development plan. In response to that call for proposals, it will be open to Knock Airport to submit its priorities for infrastructural upgrades and improvement works over the plan period. I am not aware of any inconvenience or delays caused to passengers using Knock arising from the absence of radar facilities at the airport.
