Vol. 529 No. 1

Written Answers. - Turbary Rights.

Michael Ring

Question:

383 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if the Land Commission will allocate bog land to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [1344/01]

This bog land forms part of the Darcy Estate. The request made by the persons named for a bog plot on the estate will be considered when a scheme for disposal of turbary rights on the bog is being prepared. If the persons named are interested in renting a plot for a year they should contact the Department's Castlebar office.
