Nora Owen

Question:

386 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he has received a complaint about a recent coursing event in Abbeyfeale; if he is concerned that certain activities might have been in breach of the Wildlife Act, 1976; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A complaint has been received recently about the Abbeyfeale coursing meeting and is being examined in my Department. Breaches of the Wildlife Act, 1976 are a matter for the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands.
