434 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if his Department has concluded negotiations regarding a new reactor compensation grant scheme based on individual animal replacement value; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2309/01]

Most aspects of the proposed on-farm valuation scheme have been agreed between the Department and the farming organisations. I am hopeful that the remaining issues can be concluded shortly.
