Question:463 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance when the C2 application of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will be processed and issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1007/01]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of having received an application for a C2 certificate from the taxpayer. On 25 January 2001 the inspector sent an application form to the taxpayer. When the completed application form and supporting documents are received the inspector will process the application as quickly as possible.
