Question:574 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will increase the grant sanctioned for an extension to a recreation centre (details supplied) in Westport, County Mayo. [1241/01]
Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.
A grant of £20,000 from lottery funds was paid to this voluntary group in year 2000. The question of providing a further grant will have to be considered as part of 2001 lottery applications. In this connection, I have arranged for a fresh application form to be forwarded to the group concerned. I will have the request considered as soon as the completed application is received in my Department.
