652 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will intervene with the Western Health Board on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo who has applied for a nursing home subvention; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1670/01]

The provision of health services in the Sligo area is a matter for the North Western Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investi gate this case and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
