682 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason the services of the diabetic day centre in Beaumont Hospital have been withdrawn from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 following her decision to see a consultant in the hospital privately; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The responsibility for the provision of health services to persons in Dublin is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the first instance. I have, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and respond to him directly.
