843 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the total number of civil servants who are currently on the transfer list to other sections of Departments outside Dublin; the locations and numbers involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1992/01]
My Department has staff at two decentralised locations, namely Ballina and Shannon. The table below sets out the number of officers in each grade who have applied for transfer – under the central transfer list – to fill vacancies arising at these locations.
