Vol. 529 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Michael Finucane

Question:

965 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she is in receipt of an application from a group (details supplied) in County Limerick for a grant under the access scheme; and if so, when the grant will be paid. [1859/01]

An application has been made for funding for the development of Banogue parish centre, Croom, County Limerick, under the ACCESS (Arts and Culture Capital Enhancement Support Scheme). A total of £36 million of Exchequer funding is available under ACCESS for the period 2001-2004. The initial assessment of all applications is currently being undertaken to determine whether each application meets the broad criteria for eligibility. A full appraisal of all eligible applications will then be undertaken.
