149 Mr. Naughten asked the Taoiseach the total number of civil servants who are on the transfer list to other sections of Departments outside Dublin; the locations and numbers involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1983/01]
There are no central transfer lists in operation as each Department maintains its own list for transfer purposes. This Department has no section outside Dublin. However, staff members of this Department – 26 staff members in total – have requested to be placed on transfer lists for other Departments. Details of these requests and that of the Central Statistics Office which is under the aegis of this Department are as follows:
