David Stanton

Question:

A total of 1,645 applications were received by my Department under the 2000 sports capital programme. Of these 679 projects were allocated funding while 966 applications were unsuccessful. Fifty one proposals to refurbish existing swimming pools or to construct new pools were received in the Department by the closing date of 31 July 2001.
