1166 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will arrange the immediate release of funds for the building of an extension for a school (details supplied) in Dublin 9; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1299/01]
A stage 4-5 submission, that is, detailed design and bill of quantities, for the proposed extension at the school to which the Deputy refers was recently received in my Department. This submission is currently being examined and a response will issue to the school authority as soon as possible.
1167 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Education and Science when improved accommodation facilities will be made available to a school (details supplied) in County Limerick. [1315/01]
My Department has received an application from the management authorities of the school in question for grant aid towards an extension. The application is being dealt with as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand within my Department. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
