1226 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 375 of 28 November 2000, a transport grant can now be approved for the person concerned (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [1923/01]
I understand that arrangements have now been made to accommodate the child in question on a special transport service which will have an escort on board. I am also pleased to inform the Deputy that a transport grant is being sanctioned towards the costs incurred in providing private transport while the child was unable to avail of a school transport service.
