1325 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the total number of students who sat the leaving certificate in 2000 in each subject; and the numbers who took foundation level, ordinary level and higher level in each case. [2595/01]
The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the tables below. The total number of candidates who sat the leaving certificate examination in 2000 was 60,737
