The Department of Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht was established in January 1993. In mid 1997 it was retitled the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands. In the period from January 1993 until the end of 1997 the following is the proportion of higher executive officers in my Department who progressed to assistant principal:

The Department of Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht was established in January 1993. In mid 1997 it was retitled the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands. In the period from January 1993 until the end of 1997 no administrative officers have progressed in the Department to the grade of assistant principal officer.
