147 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received an application from a group (details supplied) in County Meath for funding towards the provision of a new multi-denominational primary school for the Navan area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2805/01]

A positive indication of interest in setting up a school in the Navan area has been received by my Department from the group referred to by the Deputy. However, no formal application has been received to date.
